Obituary for Patricia Ann Crook

Patricia Ann Crook

Patricia Ann Crook went to be at home with her loving Savior, Jesus, March 9th in Folsom, CA. She was 86 years old. Services will be Saturday, March 24 at 10:30 a.m. at Covenant Presbyterian Church on Fremont Street in Lander, WY.
She was born to Archie and Dorothy McIlnay on June 4th, 1931 in Midwest, Wyoming where her father worked in the oilfield. She later moved with her family to Central City, Nebraska where she graduated from high school. She attended the University of Nebraska and graduated with her B.S. in Botany. While attending the University she met the love of her life, Don Crook. Don and Pat married and later moved to Lander, Wyoming where Don was the City Engineer. Patricia was the loving mother of five children.
She loved the mountains and the rugged individualism of Wyoming. Patricia had a magnificent flower garden and could grow champion-sized vegetables. There was nothing that would make her happier than pulling weeds in her garden. She knew the Latin name of every plant she ever meant. She was a true naturalist with a conservative twist.
She will be truly missed by her husband of nearly sixty-three years and her children: Mikel and Jackie Crook of Santa Rosa, California; Joel and Kathy Crook of Oakridge, Tennessee; Jennifer Wills of Lander, Wyoming; Rebecca and Keith Kringle of El Durado Hills, California; and Amy and Craig Larson of Centennial, Colorado. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
